Judges and state attorneys from several European countries, participants of the two-week exchange program of the European Judicial Training Network, visited the Supreme Court of the Republic of Croatia in the organization of the Judicial Academy.
Gordana Jalšovečki, Deputy President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Croatia, gave at the beginning of the meeting an introduction to the structure and functioning of the Supreme Court.
Judges Damir Kontrec, President of the Civil Department; Dražen Tripalo, President of the Criminal Department; Goranka Barać - Ručević, Head of the Department for Monitoring European Regulations and Court Practice of the Council of Europe and the European Union, and Dragan Katić, Head of the Center for Judicial Practice, participated in the conversation presenting the work of those departments and answered numerous questions about the specifics of the Supreme Court's proceedings in civil and criminal cases.
