The Supreme Court of the Republic of Croatia is the court of the last instance (Article 14 of the Law on Courts). The law also regulates the establishment of other regular and specialized courts in line with the real competence and jurisdiction or for the area of legal practice (Article 14, Paragraph 5 of the Law on Courts). The seat and the territorial jurisdiction of the courts are determined by the Law on Territorial Jurisdiction and Seats of the Courts (Official Gazette 67/18).
